If your your height is 158 to 168 cm (about 5 ft 2 in to 5 ft 6 in), go with a S frame (15 to 16 in). Mountain bike frames are sized by your height and inseam. Get it right and the bike handles well on climbs and descents; too big and it feels twitchy on technical trails.
